The second of two paintings commenced on 25th June 2016. This landscape, looking west, up from the Cochrone Lagoon entrance, at Copacabana and MacMasters Beach, was painted during '5 Lands Art in the Open', a subsidiary plein air painting activity of 'The 5 Lands Walk' on the NSW Central Coast. Unfortunately, an infuriating cold and uncomfortably strong south westerly, winter wind was blowing, irritatingly tunneling up the lagoon, offering difficult conditions. The final touches were applied on later days in my home studio.
